AlicebanD love music and have been performing together for the last five years. “Aliceband, like any decent original band are not easy to describe; their music is essentially an upbeat folk/pop hybrid with intelligent, thought provoking lyrics. But to put a label on their multifarious musical escapades would be a severe injustice. Led by superb songstress Alice Walker the band ooze talent and are sure to get your brain thinking, your mouth smiling, and your foot tapping” Stortford Music Festival. They have extensive recording experience with five current albums on sale including their most recent album ‘Spider in the bowl’ which is available to download on iTunes. They have had numerous tracks played on BBC Introducing in Essex and Cambridgeshire and continue to tour throughout the UK this year.

Drawing influences from artists such as Billie Hiliday, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and Seal, Azu has carved out a leftfield soul pop sound that recalls the early work of Seal with the pop sensibilities of early Maroon 5.

After spending time on the live circuit honing his skills, Azu has emerged as an artist with a distinctive voice both as a singer and a songwriter.

Little Wolf

It’s been hard putting a label on Little Wolf. In essence the wolf pack are four, seemingly clueless, lads with a serious passion for real music, and wolves. Kerrang Radio said “These guys are the buisness!” and “They’re real funky, almost like Jamaroquai but way cooler!” Little Wolf are influenced by everything from Jazz and Blues, from Funk to Reggae, so it was almost foreseen that they’d take a slightly different approach to today’s pop music. It seems they wish to take over the forest, One paw print at a time.

New Groove Formation

After 6 years of relentless gigging New Groove Formation have qualified as one of the UK’s most entertaining and energetic live acts on the underground festival and club circuit.

They fuse Funk, Ska and Reggae, mix in some horns, didge and percussion, then add energetic tones and electrifying rap.

New Groove Formation is not a band it’s a way of life a dream of many people not just players but fans as well. It is their duty to the planet to carry the inferno across the land and around the world.

Painting Elephants

We are Painting Elephants. We play intricate loud rock music in the dirtiest way possible. We don’t have a cool story behind our band name or of how we met. We’re just a selection of geeks from different musical backgrounds who quite unexpectedly formed a kick-ass band together. We are Painting Elephants. Public Speech

Born in Hackney, East London sometime in the last few years, Public Speech are a kaleidoscope of satire, irony and searing guitar licks distilled by a bad ass rhythm section, into a potent attack on just about everything. Along the way Public Speech has created it’s own genre and they are just a bit more original than your average Punk, Blues, Rock and Rap band with more than just a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure.
